No Sound Coming from Magnifi Mini
The Magnifi Mini will not play sounds from your TV.
Some Requirements May not be Met:
Your Magnifi Mini should be plugged into an AC outlet (supports 110V only).
Your Magnifi Mini should be turned on.
Your Optical and HDMI ARC cables should be connected to the Magnifi Mini and TV.
If your TV does not have an HDMI ARC outlet then you must use the Optical Output.
The correct source must be selected on your Magnifi Mini.
If your TV does not have an HDMI ARC outlet then you must use Optical Output.
Your TV audio output must be set to the correct source.
If your TV does not have an HDMI ARC outlet then you must use Optical Output.
The volume on your Magnifi Mini should be turned up.
Once each of these requirements have been met, proceed to the following solutions.
Magnifi Mini is not Updated
Your Magnifi Mini will automatically update when connected to the internet; give the device ample time to allow for updates, then check if sound will play.
To connect your Magnifi Mini to your WiFi network:
Download/Open the Google Home app (Free on Google Play Store and Apple App Store).
Make sure your mobile device or tablet is connected to the WiFi network you want your Magnifi Mini to connect to.
Open the Google Home app and tap the Menu button located at the top left corner of the Home screen.
Verify the Google Account listed is the one linked to Google Home.
Tap Home Control.
In the Devices tab, located at the bottom right, tap Add.
Tap the device you want to connect and then follow the given steps on the app.
When pairing is complete, tap Done.
Now that your device is connected to the Google Home app, it will automatically connect to the WiFi that your mobile device/tablet is connected to. You can set nicknames for your Magnifi Mini, use voice controls and assign it to a room through the Google Home app.
Alternatively, you can just connect an ethernet cable to the back of your Magnifi Mini and your device will automatically connect to your network.
If your Magnifi Mini is already connected to the internet and still will not play sound try resetting to factory default settings.
Resetting to factory default settings
Hold the reset button on the back of the Magnifi Mini for at least 15 seconds. You will hear a two tone sound to confirm reset, do not release the reset button until you hear the confirmation tone.
After resetting, all settings are erased and you will need to setup the unit again, including connecting to your WiFi.
The device is constantly searching your WiFi network to stay connected and find out if you're trying to stream audio.
This keeps some of the electronics in the sound bar active, even when entering 'sleep' mode; this allows easy stream of music over WiFi.
The warmth will not damage the speaker and passes all Safety and Regulatory requirements.

Remote Connection is Poor
Magnifi Mini does not respond to remote commands.
Keypad is Faulty
Make sure the keypad is clean and pieces are not loose.
Remote is not Responding
Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote and remove both batteries.
Press and hold any button on the remote for 20 seconds.
Release the button and reinsert the batteries and the battery cover.
If the remote works, there was a glitch in the remote that was cleared when you discharged the remote.
If the remote does not work, replace the batteries in the remote.
If all else fails, change signal transmitter inside the remote control.
Switch to appropriate audio type (Optical or HDMI ARC).
Adjust sound setting on receiver or amplifier
Cable is not Connected Properly
Loosened wires can result in lower sound quality.
Voice coil is Faulty
Use rubber cement or a repair kit to repair any small holes in the cone.
Volume Control is not Clean
Clean the volume control with an electronic contact cleaner.
Magnifi Mini Subwoofer not Connecting to Magnifi Mini Soundbar
My Magnifi Mini Soundbar will not connect to the provided Magnifi Mini Subwoofer.
Preliminary diagnostics Have not Been Performed
Make sure device is on and playing audio.
Unplug or turn off the subwoofer's AC main switch.
Press and hold sync button on the back of the sound bar for 6 seconds. Continue holding throughout syncing process.
After 3 seconds, turn on the subwoofer's AC main switch and continue to hold for 3 seconds (6 second process in total).
When the subwoofer LED turns solid green, the sound bar and subwoofer are successfully connected.
Firmware has not Been Updated
Check for a firmware update.
This should automatically update if you are connected to your WiFi
